Stan, We wanted to let you know what a great pleasure it has been working with you and your team to build our log cabin. It turned out to be more than a cabin and certainly more than fulfilled our dream. From the initial contact we knew we found the right log home with Bridger Mountain Log Homes, Inc. and the right company to build it with Stan Yung Construction Co. The one stop shop concept fit us perfectly. Your national recognition for your designs proved to be will deserved as we designed the cabin with Denny and Jennifer. Their patience and suggestions while we got it right, even during construction, made this part of the process exciting. We came to you with a few basic ideas which were transformed into working plans and a great design that fits our lifestyle. The care that Bridger Mountain Log Homes used to mill the logs to such exacting specifications showed in the end as the quality of construction is very apparent. The use of standing dead timber and its natural drying process is appealing. The education we received on log homes, and the best techniques that are used in the manufacturing of the logs convinced us our cabin will be around for many of our future generations. Since the cabin is in West Yellowstone, Montana we were not on site very often but we quickly found that we could have complete confidence in Stan Yung Construciton Co., and that the construction would be to very high standards. You, Wes, Jim and Terry are all so professional and accommodating to our desires. Any question we had was met with immediate results and the fact you all have the upmost concern for our satisfaction was gratifying. I appreciate quality wood working and the artistry shows in the fine details. Last, we cannot tell you how much we also appreciate the transparent and easily understood billing submitted by Thelma. John and I picked up our logs on June 15th. While they were very expertly loaded onto our trailer by Mark, we sat and had coffee prepared by Thelma -- served with friendship and conversation. We made the trip home with no trouble, due to the expert loading job and only wished Mark had come with us as we ended up unloading by hand. Boy could we have used a forklift! Our experience with your company has been Sooo wonderful from the very beginning, starting with Denny's help, Stan catching half the phone calls, advice etc. The product is great, the company even better. We would highly recommend you to anyone thinking of a log home. We, of course, are sold on log homes but not all products are equal. When Bert and I decided on Montana to be the spot for us to retire, we went searching for the perfect piece of land. We found that spot in the Big Sky area but knew it would be harder to find the perfect builder. We wanted to be our own architect and interior designers right down to the designs of the bathrooms and cabinets and pretty much the entire house. Without having any professional background in either, we knew it would be a challenge and that we needed the right builder. After purchasing the land and designing our floor plan, we headed to Columbus, Ohio to the log home show. With plan in hand we went shopping with a list of questions and ideas. As soon as we met Stan and company we knew we found the perfect builder for our project. Since we were to build our dream home in Montana, with us still living in Ohio, but still wanting to be totally involved, we needed someone we thought we could work with that not only could provide the log package but who would oversee the finish work from the well to the landscaping. We found Stan and Bridger Mountain Log Homes and Stan Yung Construction to be the friend we needed. They made the project go very smoothly. You built a terrific cabin for us! From day one, your attention to detail, quality of workmanship and thoroughness was extremely impressive and really shows up in the final product. As you know I've been in the development business for 20 years and I was a bit worried that this project would be going on for 5 months, 1,200 miles from us, with very few jobsite inspections by me. But you treated our job as if it was your own and that's what made the difference. I never hesitated asking you "if it were your home what would you do?" because I knew I would go with your suggestion. Please always feel free to give this letter, or my phone number, to any potential clients.
